Good thought re Akritoi &am...Orders are aorders :)

Good thought re Akritoi & uniforms - some European countries have a Gendarmerie, something between police & military (Some people think the Vardariots were like that - hmmmm)

Re Zubrowska, check out my gamimg oppo's Polish Imagi-Nation blog https://tracksandthreads.wordpress.com/2015/09/25/polish-mechanised-division/freecloudhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02733549306046954628noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6591743244346895259.post-66663962616461245392015-10-15T01:16:27.990-07:002015-10-15T01:16:27.990-07:00And I see you already went for those ideas, that&#...And I see you already went for those ideas, that's what I get for reading the posts out of order.commissarmoodyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17453787431294606707noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6591743244346895259.post-4658865940275130692015-10-15T00:23:41.650-07:002015-10-15T00:23:41.650-07:00Looks like a pretty modern and functional TO&E...Looks like a pretty modern and functional TO&E. M6 old battalion was organized along similar lines. I like the idea of the pelosts being light infantry, are they going to be like the 75th Ranger Rgt, or commando style units?
Also try the idea that all the active brigades 5-7 battalions, but have 5 active and 2 being reserve forces. Comprised of troops that have completed there term of service but are still trained up on what ever the type of unit the brigade is (mech, arty, etc)
That way as you progress in time, your old main line tank and mech troops become 2nd line support troops for the modern kitted out younger troops. Not saying they are veteran statues mind you, there just older, fatter, and can still know how to drive a tank.
For the the border guards Akorit troops, say that they are a full time active force that just for logistical reasons fall under the territorial reserve command. Different uniforms and ever thing. Sorry for my miss spelling of things. I am using a new phone to type this and can not find the spell check app.commissarmoodyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17453787431294606707noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6591743244346895259.post-89045350781651636282015-10-14T23:09:55.066-07:002015-10-14T23:09:55.066-07:00Trains would give mobile strongpoints. If there had been some extremely big guns left behind after WW2, you could imagine them being mounted on carriages to be moved to point of need. freecloudhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02733549306046954628noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6591743244346895259.post-10918011523884482162015-10-14T20:04:16.495-07:002015-10-14T20:04:16.495-07:00I think this MTO gives you the maximum flexibility...I think this MTO gives you the maximum flexibility for the forces at hand.
